Stopped on off chance and managed to get a table for four on a hot, busy Sunday, very popular with a nice lake backdrop, Fantastic staff who gave impeccable service, we went for the bacon and chicken salad finished with lovely key lime pie😋 Book if you want to go

First time at The Lakes for Sunday lunch and certainly won't be the last. Possibly one of the best Sunday lunches we have had for a long time. The restaurant/cafe isn't huge but has an outdoor seating area over looking a small lake. Service is relaxed and the staff are friendly. I would suggest you do not have a breakfast if going for lunch as the meals are generous, brilliant crisp roast pots, lovely Yorkshire pud and thickly sliced beef, vegetables were really good too. A definitive must give it a try

A wonderful place to eat right next to the lake. We ate outside and it was lovely and shaded on this hot day. The food is well priced - large portions and absolutely delicious. Friendly table staff. The salad ploughman’s we had were very tasty. Would highly recommend.
